The tour begins at our office, where you will receive a quick 2-minute training session to familiarize yourself with the Segway. This short introduction ensures you feel confident and ready for the adventure ahead.
We start at the peaceful marina and port area, free from cars and crowds, offering the perfect space to get comfortable with your Segway while enjoying the serene atmosphere and beautiful views.
From the marina, we glide along the stunning beach of Rethymno, lined with picturesque palm trees and wide, comfortable sidewalks. This stretch is ideal for soaking in the sea views and learning about the beach’s role as a nesting ground for Caretta-Caretta sea turtles.
The tour continues through the lively Kallithea area and the bustling New Town, where locals and students create a vibrant and dynamic atmosphere. These areas showcase the modern side of Rethymno, blending seamlessly with its historic charm.
Entering the heart of the Old Town, we explore its charming alleys, historic landmarks like the Loggia, and iconic churches such as the Cathedral and the Church of the Four Martyrs. Absolutely! All participants are provided with helmets and reflective safety vests for maximum safety. Our experienced guides ensure your safety throughout the tour. After a short period of familiarization and riding, operating the Segway feels completely natural and intuitive.
No prior experience is required! Before the tour starts, we provide a quick 2-minute training session to help you feel comfortable and confident with the Segway.
Participants must weigh between 25 kg and 100 kg. There is no strict age limit, but children under 7 years old can only join by riding on the same Segway with a parent or guide. For safety reasons, the Segwaytour is not recommended for pregant women.
The tour takes three hours. It starts every hour from 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM at our office and ends at the same location. You should arrive at our office 15 minutes before starting the tour.
Absolutely! During the tour, you’ll have plenty of opportunities to capture photos and videos of the breathtaking landscapes and iconic landmarks of Rethymno.
Comfortable clothing and closed-toe flat shoes are recommended. Avoid high heels or sandals to ensure balance and stability while riding the Segway.
If weather conditions are unsuitable (e.g., heavy rain or strong winds), we will contact you to reschedule the tour or offer a full refund.
To ensure a personalized experience, group sizes are kept small, typically ranging from 1 to 8 participants. This allows our guide to provide attention to everyone and create a relaxed atmosphere.
