Segways are modern, electric-powered two-wheel vehicles that self-balance and respond to the tilt of your body. They are easy to use and suitable for everyone (weight limit: 25 to 100 kg). Before each tour, we provide a quick 2-minute training session to ensure you feel completely confident and comfortable.
Rethymno is one of the most bike-friendly cities in Greece, featuring an extensive network of bike lanes that cover most of the city. Car traffic is limited, especially in the Old Town, where cars and motorbikes are prohibited, making cycling even more enjoyable and safe. The bike lanes provide easy and quick access to both the Old and New Town, allowing visitors to explore every corner of Rethymno in an eco-friendly and relaxing way.
Guided by our experienced English-speaking tour leader, you’ll visit Rethymno’s most beautiful and historic spots. From the charming alleys of the old town and the impressive Venetian harbor to the marina, the modern city, and the beach, you’ll enjoy an extraordinary experience that combines fun and discovery. And, of course, you’ll marvel at the iconic Fortezza Fortress overlooking the city.
During the tour, we’ll make a pleasant stop in the heart of the old town, where you can enjoy a refreshing soft drink (orange, lemonade, etc.), included in the price. Our tours are ideal for couples, families, friends, or solo travelers who are looking for something different and exciting. During the tour, you will have the opportunity to photograph and record the breathtaking and iconic spots of Rethymno.

Our tour begins at our office, where you will receive a quick 2-minute training session to familiarize yourself with the Segway. This short lesson will help you feel confident and comfortable before we start.
We head to the marina and port, a quiet area free of cars and pedestrians. This is the perfect opportunity to practice more and get used to the Segway.
We continue along the stunning beach of Rethymno, one of the most popular summer spots. The beach is known for its golden sands and as a nesting ground for Caretta-Caretta sea turtles.
We pass through the Kallithea area and the New Town of Rethymno. This is where locals and students live and thrive, maintaining a lively and vibrant atmosphere.
We return to Rethymno Beach, which is adorned with beautiful palm trees, wide and comfortable sidewalks, and a well-organized setup, making it an ideal place for walks and relaxation.
We explore the charming alleys of the Old Town, historic buildings like the Loggia, and churches such as the Cathedral and the Church of the Four Martyrs. We also stop at the Municipal Garden of Rethymno and visit the Museum of Contemporary Art of Crete, which hosts unique art exhibitions in the heart of the Old Town.
We take a pleasant break to enjoy a refreshing drink (orange, lemonade, or water), rest, and discuss the highlights of the tour.
We explore the western side of Rethymno, including the area behind the fortress, offering unique views and a serene atmosphere.
We return through the narrow streets of the Old Town and stop at the Rimondi Fountain, one of Rethymno’s most iconic landmarks. According to legend, anyone who drinks from the fountain will return to Rethymno the following year.
We head to Fortezza Fortress, climbing to the iconic castle with breathtaking views of the city and the sea. This Venetian-era gem is perfect for photos and moments of relaxation.
We return through the Venetian Harbor, a picturesque spot full of traditional charm, and pass by Arkadiou Street, the popular shopping street, as well as the Unknown Soldier Square, before completing the tour.
The tour concludes at our office, leaving you with wonderful memories of this unique experience.
Absolutely! All participants are provided with helmets and reflective safety vests for maximum safety. Our experienced guides ensure your safety throughout the tour. After a short period of familiarization and riding, operating the Segway feels completely natural and intuitive.
No prior experience is required! Before the tour starts, we provide a quick 2-minute training session to help you feel comfortable and confident with the Segway.
Participants must weigh between 25 kg and 100 kg. There is no strict age limit, but children under 7 years old can only join by riding on the same Segway with a parent or guide. For safety reasons, the Segwaytour is not recommended for pregant women.
Comfortable clothing and closed-toe flat shoes are recommended. Avoid high heels or sandals to ensure balance and stability while riding the Segway.
The tour takes three hours. It starts every hour from 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM at our office and ends at the same location. You should arrive at our office 15 minutes before starting the tour.
If weather conditions are unsuitable (e.g., heavy rain or strong winds), we will contact you to reschedule the tour or offer a full refund.
Absolutely! During the tour, you’ll have plenty of opportunities to capture photos and videos of the breathtaking landscapes and iconic landmarks of Rethymno.
To ensure a personalized experience, group sizes are kept small, typically ranging from 1 to 8 participants. This allows our guide to provide attention to everyone and create a relaxed atmosphere.
